The outcome

Ultimately, Liam was really happy with the work and has left the following review on trustatrader.com.

"Lime Plastering Job - Aaron and his team spent 4 days completing a full room plaster for me. We exclusively used traditional lime plaster from Ty Mawr. About half the area was plasterboard, the other half was plastering onto a combination on bare brick and stone. It's an old house and most of the walls needed multiple plaster base coats to bring them up to level. I found it really hard to find a local plasterer who has experience in lime - having had a poor experience in the past with a plasterer who treated it like gypsum plaster - It needs slightly different skills and a much deeper understanding of the product. I have to say that Aaron was professional throughout, took time to understand our needs, worked cleanly and delivered a perfect plastering job for us. We are really pleased with the final finish and can't wait to get painting once it's finished drying out. I would have no hesitation in recommending Aaron for a lime plastering job."
